Underwater Museum of Peristera : Dive in the archeological site of Peristera
Advanced diver certification is mandatory
Explore the remains of an ancient shipwreck with over a thousand amphorae decorating the seabed.
The Peristera museum dive spot, is the first of its kind in Greece. Open to recreational divers and archeologists. The site is constantly monitored live by the Archeological ministry of Greece by a series of underwater cameras located along the wreck. Anyone who choses to dive in Peristera, must do so with the upmost respect and strictly follow the guidelines of the Dive Center. Under no circumstances must the amphorae be touched.
This will be an experience that will remain with you for the rest of your life!!!
In addition to the dive price, there is also an admission fee per diver ( Not included in the price ) of 50€ to be paid to the Archeological ministry by the Dive Center.

✔ The experience begins with a meeting at the diving center, usually in the morning, where we get to know each other. Then follows a theoretical introductory briefing, focused on the correct use of the equipment. We analyze and some basic principles of diving and under water communication. At the beach, you wear your equipment with the help of the instructor. We then board the boat, and off we go for an epic journey through time!
