Open Water School / Kalypso Dive Center & School

Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Course duration: 4-5 days

Prepare for activity

✔ The experience begins with a meeting at the diving center, usually in the morning, where we get to know each other. Then follows a theoretical introductory briefing, focused on the correct use of the equipment. We analyze and some basic principles of diving and under water communication. At the beach, you wear your equipment with the help of the instructor. First, we will get into the water at shallow depth, and exercises will be performed until you feel comfortable and become familiar with the diving equipment.
