Discover Scuba Diving / Flisvos Dive center Naxos

The Discover Scuba Diving program is designed for those who want to get a first impression of the underwater world and wish to discover what it’s like to breathe underwater.

While this program is not an actual certification course, it will show you how much fun is the experience of scuba diving. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old.

No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary and not have any health issues. The lesson has a duration of about 2.5-3 hours and includes: – Diving safety rules – Diving equipment – Breathing exercises. You have to bring your swimsuit and towels.

The diving spot is at Agios Georgios beach, Naxos town and you can see amazing aqua life like octopus, stonefish, silverfish, and sponges. Dive’s max depth is 6 meters and you will be with our instructors, who are fully certified and very experienced.

Prepare for activity

✔ The experience begins with a meeting at the diving center, usually in the morning, where we get to know each other. Then follows a theoretical introductory briefing, focused on the correct use of the equipment. We analyze and some basic principles of diving and under water communication. At the beach, you wear your equipment with the help of the instructor. First, we will get into the water at shallow depth, and exercises will be performed until you feel comfortable and become familiar with the diving equipment.
