Sea World Scuba Diving Center Kos is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece, in the best area of Kos—St. Stefanos Bay and Kastri Island. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in the crystal clear waters of Kos. During your adventure, you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off to experience an open water adventure. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program allows you to experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in shallow sea water. Anyone who is older than 10 years old and do not have any scuba diving diploma can enroll in DSD. During your first dive, you will become familiar with some basic scuba skills and explore an underwater reef, in a maximum depth of 6 meters/20 feet. Upon completion, you will be able either to join us on a boat dive, in a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet or enroll to your first scuba diving course.
The PADI eLearning for DSD is a short online theory (around 15-20 minutes), after which you will be prepared to enroll for the practical part with us. Minimum Age: 10 years old Requirements: Approval and signature of a parent/guardian if under 18 Good health state What you get: When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving program, you experience excitement, freedom and serenity of being underwater. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater.
Only a diver knows the feeling! In addition, you will be register in PADI system for a 2 weeks period, further to which you may continue with Scuba Diver or Open Water Course. In this case, your registration shall count as credit for the practical part of your course. Padi theory eLearning, all equipment, boat or house reef, Padi Pro Instructor, are included.
Padi Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) Sea – 2 hours, 1 dive, 120euro/person. Kastri isl. or house reef – 2 hours (09:15-11:15 or 14:45-16:45).
The DSD program is available for ages of 10 years old or older. The maximum depth we reach in DSD is about 6 meters and the duration of the dive approximately 40-45 minutes (including underwater skills according to PADI’s safety standards).
09:15 or 14:45 meeting time. 10:00 or 15:30 departure by boat for Kastri island or shore dive (3-Rocks). 11:15 or 16:30-17:00 back to the base.
